Reno Counseling Collective: Best Places to Work

We are proud to announce a major recognition: Reno Counseling Collective earned 2nd place in the Best Places to Work awards for the Micro Business category in Reno, Nevada. This honor reflects more than reputation or surface-level perks — it’s an affirmation from the people who matter most: team members who show up every day to care for clients in our community.

Reno Counseling Collective has been five years in the making. Every detail discussed and every mistake a lesson. We strive to create an environment that is ethical, empathetic, safe and trustworthy. So this achievement is quite an honor as it speaks to what we have worked so hard to cultivate.

Best Places to Work rankings in Reno are determined by employee feedback. Staff complete confidential surveys about workplace culture, leadership, communication, professional development, work–life balance, compensation and benefits, and everyday experiences at the job. That Reno Counseling Collective placed second in the Micro Business category means our team’s voices made clear that this is a workplace where respect, collaboration, and growth are real and felt. We view staff well-being as central to quality care, and the recognition from the Best Places to Work survey is both validation and motivation to keep improving.

We’re grateful to our team for their honest feedback and to the community for supporting mental health services in Reno. Earning 2nd place is an accomplishment we celebrate together — and we will be back next year to take home 1st!
