About Shiane
Welcome, I want to thank you for considering me as you begin your therapy journey. Reaching out for support takes courage, and I deeply value the step you’re taking for yourself. My role as your therapist is to walk alongside you as you navigate challenges, explore who you are, and build stronger, more fulfilling connections with yourself and others.
I often work with individuals exploring identity, relationships, intimacy, and boundaries. Many of my clients are part of the LGBTQIA+ and GSRM communities, are neurodivergent, or live with physical impairments. Together we create a space where every part of who you are is welcome.
In our sessions, you can expect compassion, collaboration, and honesty. I focus on the whole person, not just a diagnosis or set of symptoms, and I’ll meet you with curiosity and care. My approach draws from relational and feminist frameworks, which means we’ll center authenticity, honor your unique experiences, and work together to uncover the changes you’d like to see in your life.
Outside of the therapy room, you’ll usually find me with a book in hand, practicing Pilates or yoga, or getting a little too competitive over board games. I love spending time on the water, trying out random crafts, and relaxing with my cat. I also cherish moments with family and friends, and when I need a little fun escape, I happily binge reality TV.
“To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance”.
