About Katie

Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and begin moving toward the life you want. My goal is to create an environment where you feel genuinely safe, accepted, and supported. I believe healing begins with a trusting relationship, and I strive to ensure that every client feels heard, respected, and understood from the very first session.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, family challenges, and relationship concerns. Whether you're coping with a recent change, feeling stuck in familiar patterns, struggling with big emotions, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, we'll work together to identify what's getting in the way and build practical tools to help you move forward.

For parents, I know it can be incredibly difficult to watch your child struggle. Therapy can provide a supportive space where your child feels comfortable expressing themselves while also helping your family better understand their emotional and developmental needs. My hope is that both children and parents leave sessions feeling more connected, confident, and equipped with strategies that support growth outside of the therapy office.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized. There is no one-size-fits-all path to healing, so I tailor each session to your unique strengths, goals, and experiences. Together, we'll celebrate progress, work through setbacks with compassion, and build skills that help you feel more confident navigating life's challenges.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a developmental specialist supporting children and families through some of life's most vulnerable moments. That experience taught me the importance of meeting people where they are, offering compassion without judgment, and recognizing that even small steps forward can lead to meaningful change. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies, along with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can take a deep breath, be your authentic self, and know you don't have to carry everything on your own. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change.

Outside of the therapy room, I love spending time outdoors, exploring new places, cooking for the people I care about, going to concerts and shows, and traveling. I enjoy trying new foods, being around people who fill my cup, and thrifting for fun finds.
