About Stephanie

I believe healing begins with self-compassion and honesty — allowing ourselves to soften, to accept what we've been carrying, and to make space for something new. It takes courage to show up and begin this process, and I strive to create a space that feels genuine, collaborative, and grounded.

In our work together, you won't have to do things alone. I walk alongside you, honoring your pace, your experiences, and your story while fostering a space that is warm, authentic, and free of judgment. Whether you're working through something you've carried for years or navigating a change you didn't see coming, you deserve support that meets you where you are.

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating generational wounds, grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I also support couples in their relaitonship dynamics and have completed level one in Gottman Training. I am also deeply committed to serving the Latinx community and those impacted by social oppression, and I strive to bring a culturally aware and affirming lens to all of my work. My approach is rooted in Person-Centered Therapy while integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), systems perspectives, and IFS-informed work. Together, we work toward deeper self-awareness, stronger coping skills, and a clearer sense of who you are and what you want. My goal is to support you in finding clarity, strengthening your sense of self, and creating a life that feels more grounded, aligned, and empowered.

I was born and raised in Northern Nevada and earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science, with a minor in Addiction Treatment Services, from the University of Nevada, Reno. My Master's degree is in Counseling Educational Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings, Including in the hospital, Domestic Violence Resource Center and on campus counseling clinic.

When I'm not in the therapy room, I enjoy being outdoors with my corgi and cattle dog, attending live music, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

"The parts of us that carry the most pain are often the ones that tried the hardest to protect us."
